More than 20 years ago, our founding sister, Sherry Patriquin Martell, worked part-time in bra and lingerie boutiques to supplement income supporting her young family. It was during this time that she grew an appreciation for well-fitting, comfortable bras and the positive impact that wearing them has on women’s daily lives. 

Over time, as her family grew, she pursued a full-time career in journalism and advocacy. These opportunities created a deep personal awareness of issues faced by many women. On a daily basis, she was mentored by strong, caring women who dedicated themselves to encouraging, inspiring and empowering other women.

Today, she continues to be motivated by those women of action as she carries on this journey to help women build self-confidence and embrace a positive body image by providing comfortable, fashionable and affordable bra solutions for all body types.  Discussions with her own circle of friends have highlighted multiple bra shopping challenges and the desire to find  well-fitting, quality bras, right here in Colchester County. 

Sherry's sister Tanya Dondale, and sister-in-law, Amy Patriquin complete the trio of dynamic women who operate the Boutique. Amy brings over 30 years of experience in health care as a CCA and brings care and compassion to all of her interactions with clients. She's the driving force behind all of our social media marketing. Tanya has over 30 years of customer service experience, 15 of which were spent in health care, as an optometric assistant. Tanya is also a certified seamstress and in addition to offering mending hemming and alterations for all types of garments through her own business, Sapphire & Aster Seamstress Services, she uses those skills to provide custom  bra alterations for our Boutique customers, ensuring a perfect fit.

Bountiful Bra Boutique is the perfect culmination of an early introduction to understanding the value of well-fitting bras and an ongoing desire to instill confidence in women of all ages. A good fit comes from a quality product that is correctly sized and matched to an individual’s style. We are committed to making each customer feel valued and at ease.

Our focus is on women supporting women and we have aligned ourselves with female-founded or female-led, Canadian companies with a mission to offer an outstanding shopping experience.

We are passionate about creating an experience that is comfortable, personalized and empowering for every person we welcome into our boutique. We believe that choosing a bra should be a positive and uplifting experience, fun, pain free and stress free. 

Our Boutique, located in Truro, Nova Scotia offers band sizes from 28 to 58 and cup sizes from A to P. We'll continuously add sizes to meet the needs of all clients. While quality bras are our primary focus, we also carry complementing panties and accessories, chemises, and robes. as well as a selection of swimwear. We're pleased to offer Post-Breast Cancer Care services for our clients as well.
